I struggle with alot of nightmares often,,, they manifest into my biggest fears & play out in my dreams when im supposed to be resting,, often times i'll wake up & cry & break my head on what it could mean,,but i must remember it is only a dream & it cannot harm me in the physical realm,, it is important to ease your heart despite it being difficult- especially when they seem so real,,

What to do after a bad dream,,
Always rememeber it was just a bad dream,, Ground yourself back in reality by realizing you are safe and unharmed,,nothing can hurt you,,
Take slow and deep breaths,,tell yourself you're okay,
Read a book,,,,[My favorites are fairytales,,]
Watch a comfort show or movie
Have some tea,,
Hug a stuffed animal,,
Sleep with a night-light on if needed,,
Journal,,
Have a sweet treat,,
